Eduardo Rodríguez Nolasco is a key figure in the HIV/AIDS response in Mexico, with over three decades of experience in program management, health technology innovation, and inter-institutional coordination. These tools have significantly transformed the care and prevention of HIV in the country. His education includes studies in Anthropology and Sexology (INAH), HIV (INSP), and High Management (Tec de Monterrey), complemented by his certification as a Microsoft Systems Engineer. This combination has allowed him to integrate technical knowledge, a social vision, and great management capacity to face public health challenges. Respecting human rights and close to the LGBTTTI+ community, Engineer Eduardo Rodríguez Nolasco leads strategies from these platforms to expand territorial coverage, improve treatment adherence, and strengthen the institutional response with a metropolitan vision. His career includes 20 years at the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control (CENSIDA) and consulting for international organizations such as UNAIDS, PAHO/WHO, UNFPA, and the World Bank. He has also collaborated with universities, national health institutes, and the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, he is the founder of innovative systems such as SALVAR, a national platform for tracking people living with HIV; SIP, intended for users on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP); and the app for PrEP and PEP access in CDMX. His leadership continues to project Mexico City as a paradigm in the HIV and sexual health response at the national and international levels. From these positions, he decisively contributed to the generation of strategic data on HIV, HCV, and other STIs, as well as the management of antiretroviral drugs and the operation of prevention programs, consolidating the Condesa Clinics as a regional benchmark. Currently, he holds the position of Executive Director of the Center for the Comprehensive Prevention and Care of HIV/AIDS of Mexico City, which operates through the Condesa Specialized Clinics (Condesa and Iztapalapa) and the Ambulatory Centers for the Prevention and Care of AIDS and STIs (CAPASITS); he is also Responsible for the HIV and HCV Program of CDMX. Eduardo Rodríguez Nolasco has known how to articulate efforts with his management team, collaborating with institutions, civil society, academia, and activist movements. His commitment to public health has led him to promote comprehensive care models that have strengthened prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in the country. At the Condesa Specialized Clinic, where he has dedicated nearly 15 years of his career, he initially served as Coordinator of the Monitoring and Analysis Unit, and later as Deputy Director of HIV Prevention and Information.
